UNIZIK Important Notice To Post-UTME Candidates 2017/2018

This is to inform all Post-UTME candidates of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka (UNIZIK) that they are to note the following as it concerns the screening exercise.

1. Candidates who applied for Change of Course and Institution to UNIZIK can now proceed for their Post UTME registration.

2. Candidates whose images do not appear on their print out can now log into their profile and reprint.

3. Candidates who wish to use their newly released NECO result can log into their profile, fill in their result and reprint.

NWU Post-UTME/DE 2017: Screening, Cut-off Mark And Registration Details

This is to inform candidates who have chosen the Northwest University, Kano (now Yusuf Maitama Sule University Kano) as First Choice in the 2017/2018 application for admission through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), are invited to register ONLINE for and attend a SCREENING Exercise scheduled as follows:

Date: Monday 16th and Tuesday 17th October, 2017
Time: 9:00am daily..

Venue: Northwest University, Kano (now Yusuf Maitama Sule University, Kano). City Campus, Gidan Ado Bayero Kofar Nassarawa, Kano.

ELIGIBILITY:
-Only candidates who have met the following requirements are eligible for screening.

-Candidates must have chosen the Northwest University, Kano as first choice.

-Must have scored a minimum of 170 and above in the 2017 JAMB UTME or applied for Direct Entry.

-Must have registered in the Northwest University, Kano (now Yusuf Maitama Sule University) 2017/2018 Admission Screening PORTAL.

-Must have obtained a minimum of 5 Credit Passes including English Language and Mathematics in SSCE (or Equivalent) at not more than two sittings for both UTME and D.E. Candidates.

-Must have possessed 2017 UTME result Slip or 2017 D.E online registration SLIP.

-Must have obtained DIPLOMA, IJMB, NCE (or equivalent) certificate or statement of result for DIRECT ENTRY (DE) Candidates.

-D.E. Candidates with Diplomas must have minimum CGPA of 3.0 for Science based programmes and 3.5 for Arts based programmes respectively.

-D.E. Candidates with N.C.E. must have minimum of 9 points for relevant programmes in the Faculty of Education.

-D.E. Candidates with IJMB must have minimum of 7 points for Sciences and 8 points for Arts based programmes respectively.

SCREENING REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates should come along with original and photocopies of their Credentials and online registration acknowledgement Slip for the screening exercise on the dates stated above. ONLY CANDIDATES who have registered with the 2017 Northwest University, Kano (now Yusuf Maitama Sule University) registration Portal will be Screened.

GUIDELINES:
1. The date for the commencement of the ONLINE registration is Monday 18th September, 2017 while the Closing date is Sunday 8th October 2017 at midnight.
2. Candidate wishing to register should visit the University WEBSITE (www.nwu.edu.ng) and click on “2017 ADMISSION PORTAL” OR go to “screening.nwu.edu.ng” to register for the screening.
3. Candidates should generate payment invoice from the Portal and proceed to any branch of ZENITH BANK to make payment of the sum of TWO THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED NAIRA (N2, 300.00) only as screening and bank charges. The Account No. is 1013302404
4. Return to the Portal to complete the registration and Print your acknowledgement Slip to be presented together with other credentials during the screening.

ABSU Post-UTME Screening Experience 2017 - Share Yours Here

The Post-UTME screening exercise of the Abia State University (ABSU) for the 2017/2018 academic session commenced today September 20th, 2017.

The screening is expect to come to an end on September 22nd, 2017.

ASUU Calls Off Strike, Directs Lecturers To Resume With Immediate Effect

The Academic Staff Union of Nigerian Universities, ASUU, has officially called-off its strike action.

According to report, ASUU is suspending the strike till the end of October for government to fulfill their promise.

The suspension of the strike was announced after a meeting with the government delegation Monday evening.

At the meeting, a memorandum of understanding was signed with the federal government delegation led by the Minister of Labour, Chris Ngige.

Consequently, the leadership of the union has called on lecturers to resume duty as from tomorrow Tuesday 19th, 2017.

MOUAU EXTENDS 2017/2018 SCREENING APPLICATION DEADLINE AGAIN

Agriculture, Umudike - MOUAU has extended the deadline for 2017/2018 Admission Screening Application which was initially scheduled to end midnight today 18th September, 2017 to Monday 25th September, 2017.

This is to enable eligible candidates who're yet to complete their registration to do so.

MOUAU 2017-2018 SCREENING APPLICATION GUIDELINES


Kindly note that Candidate is required to have his/her O’Level examination qualifying details handy with relevant exam body scratch card details before proceeding to commence this application.

1. After payment is done, Candidate returns to the University portal to complete registration.

2. Candidate registers for screening exercise by filling a form online and selecting proposed department and other requisite details.

3. Candidates are required to select their O’Level Exam details as required on the form.

4. Candidate is to click on the “Fetch result” Button from examining body (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB).

5. The System will show a popup message button stating that “your result has already been verified by us, Click here to view result”.

6. Candidate is required to download the fetched result to verify that result fetched, does actually belong to the candidate.

7. If candidate is using two results for qualification, candidate should click on the “Add More” button to add Exam details of the second Exams. Steps 3,4,5 and 6 are repeated

8. Kindly note that O’Level results and number of sittings are weighted.
Note: Some fields are prefilled and cannot be changed

9. Candidate fills the form, accepts the “Terms and Conditions” by clicking on the submit button and can take print out after executing the Submit button. System send copy of submitted forms to candidate’s email for records.

10. Return to University website later to check for your results

UNILAG Extends Post-UTME Screening Registration 2017/2018

The management of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) has extended the closing date for the 2017 Post-UTME registration.

Candidates who made the University of Lagos their first choice in the 2017/2018 UTME and scored 200 and above, and the general public, are hereby notified that the online registration for the University of Lagos Post-UTME Screening application has been extended to close on Friday, September 22, 2017.

Candidates who have yet to complete registration are advised to take advantage of this extension.
